Breathe Arts Health Research (BAHR) commissioned well read to provide a media relations campaign to promote the impact of its innovative Breathe Magic clinical intervention. The publicity focussed on the magic therapy camps which took place in London and highlighted funding from Lambeth Clinical Commissioning Group. The objective was to raise general awareness of the Breathe Magic initiative among health professionals and health service commissioners. well read developed press materials and a bank of case studies for distribution to the media. Editorial support was provided to meet requests for commissioned articles. A media ‘opportunity’ was held at the Magic Circle and invitations sent out to broadcast and London media. The campaign resulted in coverage of the Breathe Magic camp on ITV London Tonight, in the London press, and a number of specialist titles read by professionals working with children and people with disabilities. Coverage was also secured in the Guardian Healthcare Network, a key information portal for healthcare managers; Onmedica, a leading online publication for health professionals; and Arts Professional, the key title for the arts community.
