Heritage research and interpretation

Well Read has extensive experience of the impact of the arts and heritage on wellbeing and life chances.

We know that a visit to a museum or art gallery may inspire a lifelong passion for working in the arts, museums or other professions. We also understand how local history and conservation projects can support community cohesion.
We offer a range of service to help make your heritage project or attraction a success, including:
• Consultation with local communities and groups to collate their knowledge and record oral histories
• Historical research and interpretation for heritage centre displays and other media (such as interpretation panels and APP content), including visiting archives, local studies libraries and public record offices
• Production of educational resources which meet the needs of schools and identified stages of the National Curriculum
• Production of brochures and / or web content to enable more people to access and engage with your project
